With a rush of growth the Golden Pet team found themselves looking to expand to allow more space for manufacturing, warehousing and shipping. Having previously helped build the original 173,000 SF Germantown facility, we were happy to return for their much-needed expansion. Initially, the land did not allow for Golden Pet’s desired blueprint. Engineers from Briohn’s Design team were able to relocate the stormwater retention pond that impeded the expansion, moving it from the North side of the original building to the West. This allowed for a continuous and efficient expansion to the north. Our team fast-tracked permitting, implemented the plan and began building the 132,000 SF expansion.
