Briohn Building is a family-owned, commercial design/build construction company founded in 1979. We measure success not by the projects we construct, but by the relationships we build.

OUR FOUNDATION
BUILDING BETTER COMMUNITIES
We were founded in 1979 by Brian Byrne, an engineering graduate from Marquette University, and John Maliszewski. The company name came from the union of Brian’s and John’s first names. Their first project together was a remodeling/restoring a fire damaged building owned by Mitchell Manufacturing. The company is now in its second generation of ownership, led by CEO Nelson Williams and Brian’s daughters Katy Williams and Breann Mila.
Since that first project, we’ve had an unwavering focus on customer service and quality construction practices which has resulted in thousands of successful projects and happy customers. In the course of our 40+ year history, we’ve had the pleasure of working with multiple generations of owners at several companies, continuing to provide the construction excellence that has helped their businesses to grow.
SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITY
We support a number of initiatives designed to strengthen our community, including education, cancer research, adoption related causes, and wellness.
We have been active with the Trek 100 & the MACC Fund, the Medical College of Wisconsin, Vince Lombardi Cancer Fund, St. Augustine Preparatory Academy, University of Wisconsin, Marquette University, United Way, Make a Wish, Little Warrior, Hunger Task Force, and many more.
