Facing the challenge of limited space for expansion within their current building, Capitol-Husting initiated plans to construct a two-story addition. This addition aimed not only to expand their warehousing and logistics footprint but also to accommodate internal training sessions, add office space, and provide new employee facilities. Our team stepped in to outline a path forward that would enable them to retain their existing building while adding the much-needed space to maximize efficiency. Our in-house architects and engineers developed plans for the addition that allowed for minimal disruption to their current business activities while providing state-of-the-art enhancements to their operations. Additionally, our construction team faced the challenge of building within a confined space along the side and behind the building, which was adjacent to overhead power lines.
