ABOUT US

OUR FOUNDATION

Briohn was founded in 1979 by Brian Byrne, a Marquette University engineering graduate, and John Maliszewski – the company name unites their first names. Their first project: restoring a fire-damaged building for Mitchell Manufacturing.

From that first job forward, an unwavering focus on customer service and quality construction has produced thousands of successful projects – and clients who’ve trusted us across multiple generations of their own ownership.

Today the company is in its second generation of family ownership, led by CEO Nelson Williams alongside Brian’s daughters, Katy Williams and Breann Mila.

THE BRIOHN DIFFERENCE

RELATIONSHIPS FIRST

EVERTHING UNDER ONE ROOF

FAMILY-OWNED, SECOND GENERATION

We’re measured by repeat clients, not just ribbon cuttings. Many of our client partnerships span decades and help us build trust with new clients.

Architecture, structural engineering, construction, and development on one team. Fewer handoffs, faster approvals, and a single point of accountability.

We think long-term for our clients, employees, and the Southeastern Wisconsin communities we’ve built for and called home since 1979.
