GROWING BUSINESS.
EXPANDING NEEDS.
Vermeer Wisconsin is a manufacturer and retailer of high-quality industrial and agricultural equipment, commonly seen in use near roadways for drilling and feeding wires, tubes, etc.
As their expansion across the Midwest and Wisconsin has progressed, the need for additional space for their equipment repair facility, employee training, and product storage has also increased. Due to this, the Vermeer team reached out to Briohn once again to help find and secure land, design architectural plans, and construct a new facilities to meet their growing needs.
THE CHALLENGE
These projects had a few challenges, including:
- Designing and constructing three-in-one facilities that provided office, training, and repair space.
- Constructing the facilities through a harsh Wisconsin winter.
- Coordinating and connecting large municipal sewer and water.
Grand Chute
Lisbon
THE RESULT
The newly constructed facilities for Vermeer Wisconsin in Lisbon, Grand Chute, Appleton and Madison each span at least 45,000 SF, providing ample space to accommodate their growing needs. The buildings include state-of-the-art equipment repair space, employee training areas, and extensive product storage.
One of the key features of the repair space in each location is the inclusion of cranes designed to handle various lifting requirements. The cranes at Vermeer are a 5-ton crane, a 7.5-ton crane, and a double 3-ton crane. The double 3-ton crane consists of two 3-ton hoists on a single girder, ensuring efficient and versatile lifting capabilities.
These new facilities not only meet Vermeer Wisconsin’s current demands but also positions them for continued growth and success in the future.
