SETTING THE STAGE FOR SUCCESS
Porter Pipe & Supply is a Midwest-based wholesale supplier for commercial plumbing supplies, pipe, valves and fittings, HVACR equipment and industrial and mechanical products.
THE CHALLENGE
With continued growth across the Midwest, Porter Pipe & Supply was in need of a regional hub to support warehousing and logistics of their materials. The Briohn team stepped in and provided several land development opportunities that met the geographical needs of Porter Pipe team. Once the location was selected, Briohn’s internal design team developed layout and structural plans to support the requirements of warehousing and fabrication of materials. In addition, knowing Porter Pipe had a large fleet of delivery vehicles and their parts ranged in size and length, the Briohn team planned for a 6 acre staging lot on the backside of the building to accommodate added storage.
THE RESULT
The end result was a 180,000 SF connected warehouse and logistics facility that meets the demands of Porter Pipe’s growing market presence. This addition of an expansive 6 acre lot allows for added exterior storage.
