Beer Capitol, based in Sussex, WI, has been the beverage alcohol distributor of choice for more than 3000 retail customers, their fellow co-workers, as well as their supplier partners for over 90 years.

Their operation has continued to grow over time, driven by new offerings, expanded coverage, growing demand.

THE CHALLENGE

Facing the challenge of limited space for expansion within their current building, Beer Capitol initiated plans for an addition to their existing facility, with the aim of not only expanding their storage footprint but also accommodating future distribution growth.  Teaming up with Briohn, Beer Capitol delved into a thorough site evaluation. Briohn leveraged its in-house capabilities to assemble multiple site plans that provided Beer Capitol options for how the addition could factor into their existing operation. This approach allowed Beer Capitol to make real-time decisions on both scope of work and layout, streamlining the entire development and construction process. The result: a fast-tracked journey that not only eliminated unexpected costs and approval delays but also paved the way for seamless growth.

THE RESULT

After Beer Capitol selected the layout that best fit their needs, Briohn got to work obtaining all municipal and zoning approvals. Leveraging our experience in development and construction, we were able to hit the ground running and execute this project without interrupting Beer Capitol’s operations.

The end result was a brand new 98,468 SF facility built with state-of-the-art storage, temperature and humidity-controlled areas, office and multiple loading docks. We’re happy to have supported Beer Capitol’s expansion efforts. Cheers!
