THE CHALLENGE
ABB is continuing to invest in consumer demand for electrification and automation products, right here in the Midwest. So when they came to us we knew we had to deliver a state-of-the-art facility that would support global leadership in operations and logistics. We set forth to support their expansion efforts in Wisconsin by securing land in New Berlin and designing a multifunctional facility. Our in-house architects received a full-download of projected operational activity and double-down on designing a revolutionary, collaborative and streamlined facility footprint.
THE RESULT
ABB’s Midwest operations are setup to be fulfilled within one facility that supports their growing global footprint. This new facility is optimized with production, assembly, warehousing, and distribution space. The end result of this collaboration was a 308,528 SF building which will be opening in late 2023.
